Chalet chef — French & Swiss Alps

A private chef for the chalet,
from the Riviera to the snow.

Summer on the Riviera, winter in the mountains: for chalet stays in Courchevel, Megève, St. Moritz or Gstaad, Mathias travels with the same way of cooking.

A ski chalet has its own rhythm: an early breakfast before the first lift, lunch on the terrace, tea and cake when everyone comes back from the slopes, and a proper dinner by the fire. A private chef keeps that rhythm going, so nobody has to plan a meal or find a table in a full resort.

For families who spend the summer on the Riviera and the winter in the Alps, it can be the same chef in both houses: tastes, allergies and the children’s preferences already known, menus that never repeat across the week, and a kitchen left spotless each night.

The alpine larder

Local, in season

In Savoie, the larder means Beaufort and Reblochon, lake fish such as féra and omble chevalier, and wines from Savoie and the Valais; in the Engadine and around Gstaad, Swiss mountain produce and wines. Provisioning is planned before arrival, as resort shops are small and busy in high season.

You deal with Mathias directly — one conversation, and the menu, the market and the service are quietly taken care of.

Can it be the same chef for our Riviera villa in summer and our chalet in winter?
